Why We Built This
India produces extraordinary graduates. IIT, IIM, BITS, Manipal, SRM - the quality of technical and business education in India is world-class. But there is a gap. The domestic job market is intensely competitive, and the route to international opportunities has historically been opaque: who you know, how much money you have, or luck.
We built Internship Abroad India to change that. To create a clear, transparent pathway from an Indian university campus to a real desk at a real company in Dubai, Singapore, Bali, Barcelona, London, Tokyo, or any of 25 other destinations. With full visa support, honest cost information, and someone you can call when something goes wrong.
We are not an agency that takes your money and sends you a list of companies to email. We do the work. We match you. We handle the paperwork. We introduce you to a local mentor before you land. And we only charge you after you are placed.
What We Actually Do
Company Matching
We maintain relationships with 300+ verified companies across 25 destinations. When you join, we match your field, skills, and goals to specific openings - not a generic database of listings you scroll through yourself.
Visa Documentation Support
Visa is often the biggest anxiety for Indian students. We guide you through every document: the university NOC wording, bank statement requirements, sponsor letters, insurance proof. We have done this for students from IITs, NITs, private universities, and regional colleges across India.
Accommodation Assistance
Finding safe, affordable accommodation in a new city is stressful. We help with vetted options in each destination - not luxury, but clean, safe, and close to your workplace.
Local Mentor Network
In each destination, we have a local mentor - often an Indian expat or a local professional who knows the city well. They meet you on arrival, answer practical questions, and are available throughout your stay.
Our Approach to Visa Transparency
We will be honest with you about visa complexity from the start. The Indian passport, while respected, requires visas for most international internship destinations. This is a real challenge, and we do not hide it.
Some destinations are significantly easier than others for Indian nationals. Dubai and Singapore have well-established processes for company-sponsored visas. Bangkok allows 60-day visa-free entry for Indian passport holders. European destinations require more time and more documentation.
During your discovery session, we discuss visa options specific to your destination choice, your timeline, and your circumstances. If a destination you have chosen is going to be extremely difficult given your timeline, we tell you. We would rather help you succeed in a different destination than fail in your first choice.
We have helped students successfully obtain visas for internships in the UAE, Singapore, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, and more. It is doable. It requires planning and patience.
